Nora Fatehi to Make History at FIFA World Cup 2026 Opening Ceremony

TORONTO : Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi is set to create history by performing at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The event will take place on June 12 at the BMO Field in Toronto, Canada, making her the first Bollywood actress to grace the FIFA opening stage.

This performance marks a unique global milestone for Fatehi. Having already performed at the FIFA World Cup 2022 closing ceremony and the opening ceremony of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, she will become the first and only Bollywood artist to perform at the opening ceremonies of both the Football and Cricket World Cups.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 is scheduled to run from June 11 to July 19, 2026. In a historic first, the tournament will be co-hosted by three nations: the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
