Nepal Men’s Futsal Team Climbs Four Spots to 110th in Latest FIFA Rankings

Kathmandu:The Nepal men's national futsal team has climbed four places in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday. According to the new standings, Nepal now occupies the 110th position globally.

This improvement follows Nepal's impressive performance in the SAFF Futsal Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand, in January 2026, where the team secured a third-place finish.

Meanwhile, the Nepali women’s futsal team remains steady at 91st position. The women's squad, which was formed for the first time recently, finished fourth in their debut appearance at the SAFF Championship. In the South Asian region, the Nepali women's team currently ranks second, trailing only behind Bhutan (89th).
