Nepal 'A' Clinches Thrilling Victory Over USA
Kathmandu :Nepal 'A' continued its winning streak by defeating the USA by 3 wickets in a one-day practice match on Saturday. This marks the second consecutive victory for the home side.
Chasing a target of 263 runs, Nepal reached the milestone in 49.1 overs with 7 wickets down. Mayun Yadav starred with the bat, scoring a crucial 72 off 80 balls. He was well-supported by Kushal Malla (33), Sandeep Jora (36), and Anil Sah (27). Pawan Sarraf played a composed unbeaten knock of 24 to seal the game.
Earlier, the USA posted 262/8 in 50 overs after winning the toss. Opener Smit Patel played a magnificent innings of 116 runs, including 10 fours and 5 sixes. However, lack of support from other batters and disciplined bowling from Nepal restricted them. Pawan Sarraf claimed 2 wickets for Nepal.
