Historic Face-off: England National Cricket Team Set to Tour Nepal (2027-2031)

Kathmandu:The landscape of Nepali cricket is about to shift. In a monumental development for the sport, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has confirmed that the England National Cricket Team is scheduled to visit Nepal for a bilateral series within the 2027-2031 cycle.

The iconic TU Cricket Stadium is expected to host this high-profile clash, bringing one of the giants of world cricket to the heart of Kathmandu.

CAN Spokesperson Chumbi Lama confirmed the news to  stating that active dialogues are underway with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). While the exact calendar dates are being finalized, Lama noted that the tour is "almost certain."

Adding fuel to the fire, CAN Secretary Paras Khadka took to social media to echo the sentiment. Quoting ESPNcricinfo, the former captain expressed Nepal's readiness:

"We are ready to host the T20 series between Nepal and England at our home ground."
