Bayern Munich edge Wolfsburg as Kane misses penalty

Kathmandu :In the German Bundesliga, league leaders Bayern Munich secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Wolfsburg last night. Michael Olise scored the decisive goal in the 56th minute at the Volkswagen Arena to clinch three points for the visitors.

Earlier in the match, Bayern had a golden opportunity

to take the lead, but star striker Harry Kane uncharacteristically missed a penalty in the 36th minute. Despite the miss, the already-crowned champions held on to their lead to reach 86 points from 33 matches. Meanwhile, the defeat leaves Wolfsburg struggling under relegation pressure.
